University of Georgia Risk Management and Insurance Scholarships

A graduate of the University of Georgia with a BBA in risk management and insurance, Scott G. Sink serves as the senior executive vice president of the energy and marine division of McGriff, Seibels, and Williams. As a student at the University of Georgia Terry College of Business, Scott G. Sink was named the Risk Management and Insurance Outstanding Student of the Year.

Annually considered one of the top undergraduate business programs in the country, the University of Georgia Terry College of Business stands out for its risk management and insurance degree, which US News and World Report recently rated as the second-best such program in the United States. To support and honor the students who excel in the major’s rigorous curriculum, the college and its partners offer numerous scholarships and awards, including the following:
1. The Georgia 1752 Club Scholarship. Funded by the Georgia 1752 Club, a professional insurance organization dedicated to education and service, this award for risk management and insurance juniors and first-quarter seniors comes with a $1,000 prize toward tuition and fees.
2. Southeastern Actuaries Conference Scholarship. Each year the Southeastern Actuaries Conference distributes more than $10,000 to students majoring in actuarial sciences. The award is open to any student attending a college in the Southeast, including the University of Georgia.
