In early February of 2018, the Bulldogs joined other college teams throughout the nation in welcoming their latest recruits on National Signing Day. The Bulldogs will enter the 2018 season with more than two dozen new players from high schools all over the country. The on-field talent of the incoming players earned the University of Georgia (UGA) the distinction of having college football’s best 2018 recruiting class, according to 247Sports.

UGA head coach Kirby Smart is now preparing his new and established players for the upcoming season, which will kick off with a home game against Austin Peay State University on September 1. Highlights of the Bulldogs’ 2018 season will include conference games against Louisiana State University, the University of Florida, and Auburn University.
